I graduated from the University of Illinois-Chicago with a double major in Education and Kinesiology and received a Masters degree in Education Administration and Supervision from the University of Phoenix. I have been teaching in Northern Nevada for the past 22 years with the last 21 being in the Washoe County School District. I love teaching students about Sports Medicine where we are able to do fun hands-on learning every single day. I am currently licensed in the State of Nevada to teach Sports Medicine, Science, Health, and Physical Education. I am the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Department Leader at SSHS. I am a Certified Athletic Trainer, as well as, the co-advisor for our HOSA organization. I'm an American Heart BLS (CPR) Instructor and on the Advisory Career and Technical Education Committee for the WCSD.
