
I graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a bachelor’s of science in
Health Ecology from the school of Public Health, and obtained my Masters of Arts
in Teaching from Sierra Nevada College. I am dually certified in both elementary
and secondary education and have been teaching seven years; three at the
elementary and middle school level, and four years at the high school level. I
am currently licensed in the State of Nevada to teach Science, Physical
Education, and Health. I am also a NCCPT certified personal trainer, and have
five years of experience working in the medical field ranging from medical
research, medical assisting, data collection and medical records; including four
years of employment with the Women’s Health Initiative at the University of
Nevada, School of Medicine.
